Genuitec announced the availability of MyEclipse 6.1 Blue
Edition, a tailored, customizable toolsuite for WebSphere developers.
The success of the milestone release of MyEclipse 6.1 Blue
Edition and subsequent customer input drove development for the general
availability release, which provides users with all of the capabilities of the
MyEclipse Workbench Professional Edition and full compatibility with the IBM
WebSphere server.
Quick product release cycles allow Genuitec to provide
developers with open standard tools and rich commercial feature sets that have
not been made available by IBM's RAD. Developers using MyEclipse Blue Edition
can customize their WebSphere-compatible work environments to utilize MyEclipse
Blue Edition's advanced features, such as
Ajax tooling, enhanced Hibernate tools, Spring capabilities, JPA,
Struts, JSF, Web design tools, database support, third-party libraries and much
more.
“MyEclipse 6.1 Blue Edition provides developers powerful
tools to get a jump on technology innovations while using RAD for production
management and to continue taking care of legacy development,” said Maher
Masri, CEO for Genuitec. “Users of the MyEclipse Blue Edition can take
advantage of MyEclipse's rapid technology adoption to keep up with the latest
open standards and emerging technologies at a significant cost savings.”
