Can MySQL/LAMP Challenge Oracle, Microsoft, and Sybase? @ ECLIPSE DEVELOPER'S JOURNAL

MySQL Version 5.0 promises more features that make it much more palatable for database traditionalists, and likely making it more welcome in IT departments, alongside Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, and Sybase SQL Anywhere. A conference in Santa Clara, CA this week should shed more light on how it functions within LAMP as a serious development tool.
