Oracle has announced it is spearheading a project within the Eclipse open-source community to support the Enterprise Java Beans (EJB) 3.0 specification. This cornerstone for J2EE 5.0 will, with Oracle's support, 'significantly ease application development and improve developer productivity,' the company says.
