SAP Contributes to Eclipse
SAP has contributed a NetWeaver tool to Eclipse, its first experience contributing widgetry to the open source IDE. It says it will be easier for Java developers to analyze memory use in applications created in Eclipse. It should give them a better idea how to optimize memory usage without having to shut down their servers and interrupt critical business processes. Oh, yeah, and separately the Eclipse Foundation has released its Rich AJAX Platform, RAP 1.0.
