Sarelson, P.A. Files Suit for $3 Million on Behalf of a Female Inmate Who Was Allegedly Battered and Sexually Abused by Several Federal Correctional Officers in Miami's Federal Detention Center

Miami attorneys Matthew S. Sarelson and Jeffrey T.Donner announced today they have filed suit against the Untied States andBureau of Prisons on behalf of a 34-year-old, female, former federal inmatewho was allegedly repeatedly sexually battered and raped while housed atthe Federal Detention Center in Miami, Florida. These crimes wereallegedly committed over a three-year period by four correctional officers.As the former inmate is no longer under custody and is eager to move onwith her life, the lawsuit is filed in the name of 'S.R.,' the plaintiff'sinitials.
