Semiconductor Insights: Qualcomm Realizes 65nm with TSMC @ ECLIPSE DEVELOPER'S JOURNAL

Semiconductor Insights (SI), the leader in technical and patent analyses of integrated circuits and electronic systems today announced that it is starting analyses on Qualcomm's MSM6260 65nm baseband applications processor. 'TSMC is the foundry of record for Qualcomm and this device is the first time we've seen TSMC's 65nm logic process in production,' stated Jenn Markey, SI's Vice President of Marketing. 'Each successive process node applies more pressure to the fabless-foundry model, and migration to 65nm logic process for fabless companies has taken longer than we anticipated.'
