Borland Moving to Eclipse
Aims to Strengthen JBuilder

Borland is counting on its upcoming move to Eclipse
to help bolster upcoming releases of JBuilder. A Borland executive said recently that IDEs are not a growing business for the company, and that it is staking a part of its future on moving to Eclipse as the basis for its tool set. "We have a huge opportunity to help our customers solve their software problems, but we must do better," said Scott Arnold, interim CEO at Borland, according to a ZDNet report. "To do this, Borland is undergoing a major transformation around how we develop, market and sell our solutions."
