Eclipse will be the beneficiary or products that are expected to be offiered by IBM next month. The plug-ins from IBM's Tivoli management tools division are designed to reduce the complexity of application development, particularly in the areas of updating, patches, and related activity.
The company aims to allow programmers to build management information into apps during development, and thus make it easier for administrators to handle problems and make changes. As a result, this up-front design approach aims to make overall administration less expensive, less time-consuming, and more effective.
