Speaker Bio: Dr. G. (John) Janakiraman is CTO of Skytap. He is responsible for driving Skytap’s technology strategy and for leading its engineering development and architecture teams. Dr Janakiraman joined Skytap from HP Labs in Palo Alto, CA where he was the research manager for the Data Center Architecture team. At HP Labs, he and his team developed innovative server virtualization, server architecture, and energy-efficient data center technologies for the next generation of data centers. Dr Janakiraman has been granted numerous patents and has authored a number of publications on data center architecture and virtualization.
