3Leaf Systems' CTO Bob Quinn to Speak at the 2008 Virtualization Conference & Expo East

Session Highlights Emerging Technologies Enabling a Coherent Network to Lower CapEx and OpEx in Enterprise Data Centers

3Leaf Systems announced that Bob Quinn, chairman, founder and chief technology officer, will present at the 2008 Virtualization Conference & Expo East being held June 23-24 at the Roosevelt Hotel in New York. This engagement is part of 3Leaf’s strategic vision to bring dynamic server resource allocation and utilization to enterprise data centers while lowering capital and operating costs with its Virtual Compute Environment (VCE) infrastructure, announced in April 2008.

In his session entitled, “The Next Generation Coherent Network, the Ideal Solution for Compute Virtualization in the Enterprise Data Center,” Quinn will discuss key advancements in processor and networking technologies that are converging to enable truly dynamic computing within today’s resource, bandwidth and power constrained data centers. Attendees will learn how a hardware-based coherent network can turn the enterprise data center into a single dynamic resource pool of compute cores, memory and I/O.

“Virtualization is critical for today’s enterprise data centers and emerging technologies are propelling the cost and resource benefits to new heights,” said Bob Quinn, chairman, founder and chief technology officer, 3Leaf Systems. “By leveraging these technologies to establish dynamic pools of compute, memory and I/O resources, companies can gain more productivity from their existing infrastructures, more efficiently meet bandwidth and application demands, and streamline management – all contributing to substantial savings in both capital and operational expenditures.”

Session Details:
Bob Quinn’s session, “The Next Generation Coherent Network, the Ideal Solution for Compute Virtualization in the Enterprise Data Center,” will be held on Monday, June 23 from 12:40 to 1:25 p.m. as part of Track 3: Current Directions.
