"A growing number of organizations and professional software developers are adopting Eclipse as their standard Java development environment," said Mike Taylor, Instantiations' CEO. "Instantiations has a rich history of delivering innovative products that dramatically enhance the value of market leading Java IDEs. EclipsePro is designed specifically for professional Eclipse developers who are concerned with improving the quality of their code and development productivity."
EclipsePro products are designed to be used by Eclipse developers every day as they engage in the creative process of writing Java software. Dynamic code audit checks hundreds of industry-standard rules and automatically detects and corrects violations as code is written. Metrics keep developers informed in real-time of key characteristics in their code. JUnit test case generation and code coverage analysis automate the important task of unit testing and ensure that software meets high quality standards before it moves into production.
"We are delighted that Instantiations, a strong supporting member of the Eclipse community, has released EclipsePro," said Mike Milinkovich, executive director of the Eclipse Foundation. "There is a clear and increasing demand for high quality, professional tools that support developers who have standardized on Eclipse."
