Ingres has taken its Icebreaker database and turned it into a business intelligence appliance called Icebreaker BI

Ingres has taken its Icebreaker database - the version of Ingres that includes enough pieces of rPath Linux that it can run on a server without an operating system underneath - and turned it into a business intelligence appliance called Icebreaker BI, compliments of JasperSoft's open source BI suite. Voilà a pre-integrated, pre-tested solution for a subscription price of $45,000.
