Ingres president Roger Burkhardt, there a year after a stint as CTO of the New York Stock Exchange, has been named CEO too.He takes over the role from private equity investor Terry Garnett, who got the company from CA in November 2005.
Ingres also picked up Sybase senior VP of European sales Steve Shine and made him executive VP, worldwide sales reporting to Burkhardt and working out of London.
Ingres has reportedly seen 70% year-over-year growth in total bookings and 100% growth in new bookings.
The company has also joined the Eclipse Foundation.
