TOKIO, 30 de marzo /PRNewswire/ -- HI CORPORATION (Sede: Meguro-ku, Tokio; presidente y CEO: Kazuo Kawabata, de aquí en adelante "HI") anunció hoy que su motor de renderización 3D MascotCapsule(R) alcanzó los 230 millones de envíos en dispositivos móviles en todo el mundo hasta finales del cuarto trimestre (octubre-diciembre) de 2006.

MascotCapsule(R) fue ampliamente adoptado a nivel mundial por estar integrado en los teléfonos de 4 de los principales 5 fabricantes extranjeros. Más de 100 millones de teléfonos con el motor fueron enviados globalmente hasta fines del trimestre. (Los envíos en Japón superaron los 100 millones de unidades en el tercer trimestre (julio-septiembre) de 2006).

MascotCapsule(R) logró una cifra record en envíos en dispositivos integrados además de en teléfonos móviles hasta finales del cuarto trimestre, alcanzando un total de 2 millones de dispositivos.
