Universal Guardian Announces Partner Sponsorship of the Department of Defense (DoD) RFID SUMMIT April 3-4, 2007 at Washington D.

NEWPORT BEACH, Calif., March 30 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Universal Guardian Holdings, Inc. (OTCBB: UGHO), an emerging global leader in non-lethal protection products, integrated transportation and global supply chain security systems, and strategic security services to protect against terrorist, criminal, and security threats to governments and businesses worldwide, announced that it will present at and partner sponsor the United States Department of Defense RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) Summit to be held at the Hilton, Washington, D.C. on April 3-4, 2007.

The Summit is the official platform to communicate policy updates and to educate the Department of Defense and the supply base on how best to leverage RFID implementations. Universal Guardian will present its Total Asset Guardian asset visibility and security platform and its TAG3(TM) RFID systems as part of the SUMMIT. TAG3(TM) RFID systems meet Department of Defense and global retail (EPC) RFID labeling mandates. Total Asset Guardian with its TAG3(TM) systems is a commercially deployed Global Trade Management platform used for source-based RFID compliance labeling, asset tracking, and logistics management and supply chain security. Utilizing a web-based platform, TAG3(TM) cost-effectively supplies manufacturers, distributors, shippers, and importers with integrated and interoperable functionality to meet the RFID demands of retailers, government agencies (Department of Defense), or closed-loop process improvement projects. TAG3(TM) provides RFID labels for use on units, packs, cases and pallets, and other packaging in their hierarchical composition at the source anywhere in the world.

RFID is a key technology that will significantly improve the Department of Defense supply chain and its ability to support all United States warfighters. RFID will increase the Department of Defense's level of asset visibility and will streamline supply chain operations. Most importantly, RFID will help ensure that the right material gets to our military's warfighters where and when they need it.

The goal of the Summit is to facilitate collaboration among the Department of Defense, Department of Defense suppliers, and RFID vendors and experts. The Summit presents an opportunity to highlight RFID best practices and emerging technologies both in the Department of Defense and in the commercial sector. It also presents an opportunity to meet with Department of Defense Policy makers, RFID solution providers, and organizations that will share their RFID implementation experiences.
