Voilà Receives Thumbs Up From Hospitality Executives of the Future

NEWPORT BEACH, CA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- 03/29/07 -- Voilà Hotel Rewards, the first and only points-based guest loyalty programme created specifically for independent hotel companies, received unanimous approval from a group of graduate students at the MIB School of Management, International Master in Tourism & Leisure programme.

Voilà Hotel Rewards, which will be launched publicly in May 2007, is a unique guest loyalty programme that unites a variety of independent hotels and resorts from around the world. Members will be able to accumulate points and redeem rewards at countless locations and across regional brands, including independent and boutique properties previously not part of any rewards programme. Participating hotels will benefit from the competitive edge of a global rewards programme, the marketing reach of an international network, and the sophisticated CRM technology once reserved for the mega-brand chains.

MIB School of Management was founded in 1988 and accredited by AMBA (Association of MBAs), EFMD (European Foundation for Management Development), and ASFOR, the Italian Association for Management Education Development. The 50 graduate students who evaluated Voilà Hotel Rewards are enrolled in the International Master in Tourism & Leisure (IMTL) programme, which provides technical and business-oriented education on management processes and entrepreneurship in the tourism sector.

"Our IMTL participants understand the global nature of the tourism business, and recognize the challenges and demands in an international context," said Francesca Ghersinich, Program Director. "Voilà Hotel Rewards is an innovative programme, and our IMTL group certainly agrees that it is an invaluable strategic product for independent hotel groups in a growingly competitive market dominated by mega chains. By giving independent hotels the competitive edge, Voilà Hotel Rewards also benefit the global tourism industry by keeping diversity alive and viable."

"I am highly encouraged by the enthusiastic feedback we received from the IMTL participants," said Mokhtar Ramadan, CEO of Hospitality Marketing Concepts, creator and operator of Voilà Hotel Rewards. "This group represents the hospitality leaders of the future, with the talent and passion to drive our industry in years to come. Voilà Hotel Rewards is a powerful tool for independent hotel groups, and it will be very exciting for travellers who appreciate variety and individuality in their accommodation choices."

Voilà Hotel Rewards is expecting to have over 1,000 properties in its portfolio within 12 months. At this time, participating hotel groups include Husa Hotels, Great Hotels Organization, and more.
