PITTSBURGH, Jan. 31 /PRNewswire/ -- ComponentOne today announced Doc-To- Help 2006 v3.1, another installment of the tool's yearly subscription release cycle. This important release adds support for Windows Vista and integration with Microsoft Office Word 2007.
"This release strengthens our commitment to the Help Authoring community by adding support for Windows Vista and the 2007 Microsoft Office system," said Sunny Wong, Ph.D., managing director of ComponentOne. "Our customers can comfortably upgrade to the latest Microsoft productivity software and continue to depend on the high level of compatibility and integration that Doc-To-Help provides."
As new technologies arise, ComponentOne continues to release features and enhancements for Doc-To-Help that change with them. Upon installation, Doc-To-Help automatically creates 3 Ribbon tabs providing authors with quick access to Doc-To-Help's most powerful features directly in the Word interface.
"Windows Vista and the 2007 Office system will create a platform for the next generation of user experiences," said Brad Goldberg, general manager for Windows at Microsoft Corp. "We are excited to see the industry come together like never before around these products. By working closely with partners such as ComponentOne, we are able to provide consumers worldwide an experience that is easier, safer, more entertaining and better connected whether they are at home, at work, or on the go."
