Mazak Focuses on Responsive Web Design with New Multi-Language Websites Developed By Devbridge Group

International manufacturer of advanced technology solutions partnered with Chicago-based software development company to launch a collection of new, responsive sites.

CHICAGO, Aug. 5, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- International software design and development company, Devbridge Group, announced the launch of new, responsive websites built for Mazak, a leader in the manufacturing of advanced technology solutions.

The new responsive websites provide a number of innovative features that effectively represent the Mazak brand with consistency across all locations. Features like multi-language support along with synchronized content between regions provide a consistent experience for users regardless of location. Devbridge Group's open source content management system, Better CMS, allows for individual customization of Mazak's regional landing pages and the promotion of local content, such as news and product information.

To achieve optimal brand and information consistency across regions, Devbridge Group built one central database, accessible via a global and regional admin panel, to manage Mazak's large fleet of machines.

"This launch is a result of terrific collaboration between multiple teams to implement Responsive Web Design across all international Mazak websites. The six-month timeline could not have been possible without DGS Marketing and internal Mazak teams," said Aurimas Adomavicius, Devbridge President and Co-Founder.

The project required Devbridge Group to implement 20 regional sites with 17 different languages available across all sites, all unified by one global landing page, providing users the ability to easily switch to their native language and select the site of their preference.

When talking IoT we often focus on the devices, the sensors, the hardware itself. The new smart appliances, the new smart or self-driving cars (which are amalgamations of many ‘things'). When we are looking at the world of IoT, we should take a step back, look at the big picture. What value are these devices providing. IoT is not about the devices, its about the data consumed and generated. The devices are tools, mechanisms, conduits. This paper discusses the considerations when dealing with the...
