TIBCO Spotfire Ranked Highest "Current Offering" in Agile Business Intelligence Platforms Report(1) by Leading Independent Research Firm

Spotfire, a Leader in Agile Business Intelligence Platforms; Earns Perfect Score in "Agile BI - Clicks to Answer" Category

PALO ALTO, CA -- (Marketwired) -- 07/07/14 -- TIBCO Software Inc. (NASDAQ: TIBX) today announced that TIBCO Spotfire®, its analytics and data discovery platform, has been recognized as a leader in The Forrester Wave™: Agile Business Intelligence Platforms, Q3 2014(1). Spotfire® was cited in the report, with the highest ranked "Current Offering," among a field of 16 vendors.

According to the report by Forrester Research, Agile BI is a "key element in the business agility equation." Products in the report were rated on a series of 15 criteria to evaluate current product offerings, strategy and market presence. Also included was a lab exercise which measured how quickly a user could find answers in a Forrester Research-supplied data-set.

In addition to the highest ranked "Current Offering," Spotfire also earned a perfect score in the "Agile BI - Clicks To Answer" category.

TIBCO Jaspersoft®, a leading open source solution targeted at embedded BI and reporting, versus standalone analytics was acquired by TIBCO in April 2014, was also evaluated in the report, earning recognition as a Strong Performer.
