Backbase excelled in ease of development and documentation, and had top scores for capability and performance. InfoWorld concludes: "If you’re adding AJAX gadgets to an existing or forthcoming Struts, JSF, or .Net project, then Backbase would be a good choice." Backbase has released version 3.2 of its JSF Edition. It features simplified installation based on an Eclipse plug-in, more AJAX JSF controls, performance enhancements and defect fixes. Also, a Duke's bookstore starter kit has been added, which illustrates a data-driven AJAX application with a Web Services back-end. This version is backwards-compatible with version 1.2: the change in numbering is to unify our product numbering.
