Magento, a leading eCommerce platform provider and a division of X.commerce, an eBay Inc. (NASDAQ: EBAY) company, announced details of a new Solution Partner program designed to help merchants using the Magento Enterprise Edition, select the right solution partner for the scale and needs of their businesses.
“We've seen tremendous growth in the size and scale of merchants choosing Magento and as a natural evolution of the business it made sense for us to launch a new Solution Partner Program,” said Roy Rubin, COO of Magento and X.commerce. “The program is designed to help the thousands of merchants who choose Magento Enterprise to succeed and grow, starting with selecting the right partner for their scale and budget.”
Magento’s goal is first and foremost to support merchant growth with products and services that help them build successful online businesses.
“Our partners are an important part of the Magento ecosystem and we are committed to working with them to help them deliver high quality services,” Rubin continued. “The new program sets in place rigorous training and certification requirements to help ensure they are providing quality services to our merchants.”
"We are excited to continue to be an active participant in Magento’s new Solution Partner Program," said Brian Grady, Principal at Gorilla Group, a top Magento Partner. “From creating dedicated Magento project teams to implementing a program to achieve Magento certification for our entire development team, we have long embraced the concepts that are at the core of this initiative. When fully implemented, the Solution Partner Program will further showcase Magento's inherent capabilities to help deliver exceptional outcomes for merchant's e-commerce channels."
