AccuRev, Inc., a leading provider of application life-cycle software solutions, today announced a successful completion of 2012. The company posted record revenue for 2012, which was backed by 65 percent growth in new account acquisition. These strong results are primarily a result of the attractiveness of the company’s products to large enterprises and of AccuRev’s commitment to embrace Git with its GitCentric™ (formerly Kando) offering.
“We are extremely pleased with these strong year-end results,” stated Peter Shields, AccuRev’s president and CEO. “In addition to our revenue and bookings performance in 2012, we also continued our significant investment in R&D and are excited about the progress we are making to deliver on our product vision."
In 2013 the company plans to expand on its investment in GitCentric, helping scale Git to the enterprise. The company also intends to aggressively focus on its core product, delivering on highly anticipated and exciting new features.
Shields continued, “This is an exciting time for the company. The hard work of the AccuRev team is evidenced by the quality and quantity of new customers that see the value in the AccuRev suite of products, continued growth within our customer base, as well as market reaction to GitCentric, which bridges the gap between commercial tools and open source for enterprise-class software configuration management.
“Furthermore, AccuRev has enhanced its adaptor for ClearCase®, further enabling continued success in displacing ClearCase at large enterprises, helping those organizations finally break free and unleash the potential of their development teams. We are very excited about the product enhancements we plan to roll out over the coming year and the impact they will have on our customers and their success.
“With this solid foundation in place and the great team of talented and dedicated employees, we are poised for a bright and successful 2013 and beyond,” Shields concluded.
