Cloudyn, the leader in cloud optimization and Scalr, trailblazers in cloud deployment and automation, have partnered to enable integration of cost and infrastructure management. An integrated Scalr dashboard now provides customers with a seamless view of cost drivers, over-provisioned resources, optimization options and implementation recommendations.
“As a customer of both Cloudyn and Scalr, I love how their integration provides easy access to all my cloud cost and performance data from within my deployment console,” said Jeremy Koerber, Director of Technical Operations at BranchOut. “I see this as a great start towards the full automation of optimal reservation fulfillment and deployment rightsizing, helping BranchOut reduce tedious and time-consuming manual cloud management.”
“The partnership between Cloudyn and Scalr has created a cloud platform that provides our customers with what they’ve been asking for - the ability to view their current deployment, with insights into unused or unnecessary resources, alongside the management tools needed to confidently implement the optimization recommendations,” said Sebastian Stadil, CEO and Founder of Scalr.
Scalr customers can now access Cloudyn’s cloud cost management and optimization tools directly from their Scalr console. Cloudyn provides them with detailed reports highlighting cloud usage trends, spending inefficiencies along with recommendations for selecting best fit, custom pricing plans and deployments.
“The combined ease-of-use and comprehensive suite of cloud management tools that our partnership delivers, will radically transform cloud management by bringing together and streamlining the decision-making and fulfillment processes that can be such a large part of day-to-day cloud computing,” said Sharon Wagner, CEO and Founder of Cloudyn. “Together we can offer customers control mechanisms for costs, deployment and automation all from one easy-to-use dashboard application, a critical component of long-term use of the cloud for enterprises.”
