The winning ticket from the Chicago area came from the Plainfield Athletic Club, a Chevrolet Youth Baseball league that is sponsored by Bill Jacobs Plainfield. People like Carlson and other supporters purchased raffle tickets to help raise up to $10,000 for the baseball league in the Chevrolet Youth Baseball Fundraiser.
There were five lucky grand prize winners who got to choose between a Chevrolet Cruze or Chevy Equinox and each participating market had one winner of the home entertainment package, which is what Carlson won.
This year nearly 1,700 Chevy dealers participated in Chevrolet Youth Baseball including Bill Jacobs Plainfield and helped to raise over $5.5 million for youth baseball in the U.S. The dealership is extremely proud to help and participate and is one of the leading Chicago area Chevy dealers. This is the seventh year that the program has taken place and over $18.5 million has been raised for youth baseball through Chevrolet.
