Armedia, the Atlanta-based system integrator announced today that Alfresco, the open source platform for social content management, has granted it Platinum Partner status.
This announcement came following Armedia’s significant year of growth in sales and new Alfresco implementations, as well as Armedia’s recertification as the Alfresco Certified Training Partner for the US. This appointment makes Armedia the 17th of Alfresco’s more than 300 channel partners to achieve platinum status.
“Armedia has demonstrated an enthusiastic commitment to bringing the best Alfresco solutions to their customer base,” says John Kenyon, RVP of Channels for Alfresco. “They've been an expert, reliable partner since joining the program in 2009, culminating in their Platinum status. Armedia's growth in delivering content solutions to both government agencies and commercial accounts makes them a perfect success story for our channel management strategy that Alfresco actively pursues.”
Armedia’s extensive Alfresco portfolio includes solutions that range across the entire Alfresco product stack, including: records and document management, collaboration and mobile solutions. In addition, Armedia has delivered its own case management solution, Armedia Case Management integrated with an Alfresco backend to provide for extended features. To date, Armedia has delivered Alfresco solutions to customers in multiple vertical markets, incorporating government organizations at both the Federal and State/Local level, including
- US Department of Housing and Urban Development
- Gwinnett County Government
- FederalConference.com
- US Department of Veterans Affairs
- US Office of Personnel Management
- US Food and Drug Administration
- Consumer Financial Protection Bureau
“This is an important milestone in our partnership with Alfresco, and reflects positively on Armedia’s strategy and success around Open Source solutions,” said Jim Nasr, Armedia CEO. “We see Alfresco as a highly competitive Open Source alternative in the ECM marketplace, and look forward to our continued collaborations to meet client needs.”
As an Alfresco platinum partner, Armedia will enjoy an even closer relationship with Alfresco. Some of these benefits include joint marketing opportunities, joint business planning, and dedicated resources for business development activities.
This announcement was made on the eve of the Alfresco DevCon 2012: Americas conference in San Jose, California November 14 – 15. Armedia, Silver Sponsor of this event, will be presenting at Alfresco DevCon 2012 on Wednesday November 14, 2012 on the use of Alfresco solutions within the government sector, and how the platform can be used to solve challenges such as Freedom of Information Act compliance and other Open Government initiatives.
