SAN ANTONIO, TX -- (Marketwire) -- 11/05/12 -- One Source Networks (OSN), the managed voice and data services provider and network partner of choice for large enterprises, announced today the launch of its Cloud Computing portfolio, comprised of three Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) offerings designed to meet diverse business needs through flexible deployment models and a broad range of product features.
Built on enterprise-class architecture, OSN's Cloud Computing suite provides customers with processing, storage and network capabilities which may be scaled as needed, enabling them to avoid under and overprovisioning and eliminating the time and cost inefficiencies associated with in-house infrastructure.
The portfolio includes a flagship offering with access to private compute pools, a dedicated model which provides additional levels of security, isolation and control, and the ability to deploy a hybrid model. Each offering can be delivered as a self-managed or fully managed solution. All options provide access to resources and reporting via a single, simple interface -- the OSN Cloud Computing portal. With the portal, customers can deploy, configure and manage virtual machines across operating systems including Windows, Open Source, or Solaris as well as managing IP addresses, firewalls and load balancers.
"Cloud Computing represents a key addition to the OSN family of solutions," commented Ernest Cunningham, CEO, One Source Networks. "Like all of our offerings, the portfolio exemplifies the core values of our company by enabling our customers with solutions that drive higher performance and efficiency. By tapping into computing resources delivered via the cloud, customers gain a competitive advantage through enhanced agility to respond to evolving business demands, and the ability to transition from a capex to an opex-based infrastructure model."
The suite is built on enterprise grade technology and is designed using fully redundant architecture, providing physical redundancy to eliminate downtime due to hardware failure. As an enterprise cloud offering, customers are guaranteed privacy and security, with the additional benefit of implementation in only a few weeks.
With delivery centers across three continents, the OSN Cloud Computing portfolio is accessible via OSN's Cloud 2.0 architecture which offers secure public and private data connectivity to enterprise customers worldwide.
