DENVER, June 30 /PRNewswire/ -- iKnowledge Solutions, Inc., (iKS, formerly Cadpo) is now distributing SolidWorks courses for i.get.it Desktop, a personalized learning system for new i.get.it users.
i.get.it Desktop was released by iKS earlier this year to provide a choice for individuals who have limited access to the internet without limiting the personalized learning capabilities found in i.get.it Professional such as learning paths, assessments, progress reports, bookmarks and personal notes. SolidWorks courses are grouped into bundles that match SolidWorks offerings (i.e. SolidWorks Office, Office Professional, etc.) so customers know exactly what they need and can purchase the training when they need it.
According to the Vice President of Sales at iKS, David Fedler, the SolidWorks courses on i.get.it Desktop are especially important for the emerging Asian markets such as India and China. Fedler stated, "There is a particularly large base of SolidWorks users in India who have limited or no Internet access. Additionally, there is a large turnover rate among engineers making it imperative that companies be able to accurately train incoming hires quickly."
SolidWorks courses on i.get.it Desktop do not require Internet connectivity, are licensed per machine and upgrades are purchased on an as needed basis. Introductory prices start at $495 US, and packages are available on CD-ROM. To purchase or to find out more information about i.get.it Desktop courses, interested parties should contact their local i.get.it reseller or contact iKS directly at +1.303.252.8485. Resellers interested in becoming an iKS distribution partner should contact iKS.
