Le projet OpenNebula est fier d'annoncer la 13e version stable de sa très populaire plateforme en nuage entièrement open source, destinée à la gestion des infrastructures virtuelles de centres de données. OpenNebula 3.8 (Twin Jet) regroupe les précieuses contributions des nombreux acteurs de l'industrie qui appartiennent à sa vaste communauté d'utilisateurs, y compris les fonctionnalités innovantes développées par China Mobile and Research in Motion dans le cadre de leurs principaux déploiements au profit de millions d'utilisateurs.

Twin Jet améliore ses implémentations des API AWS et OCCI ainsi que son intégration de VMware et KVM, qui sont les hyperviseurs les plus utilisés avec les nuages OpenNebula. En outre, OpenNebula 3.8 s'intègre sans difficulté au marché OpenNebula à l'aide du nouveau routeur virtuel et apporte de nouvelles fonctionnalités aux portails Sunstone et Self-service.
