X2Engine, a leading provider of open source CRM solutions, today announced it has embedded Talend Enterprise Data Integration inside X2CRM, its next generation, open source, Social Sales Management application, to help streamline contact and sales actions into a compact, social user interface.
Since its worldwide beta release in September 2011, X2CRM has been deployed across more than 1,200 public and private cloud servers globally. It takes advantage of the latest open source software including Linux, Apache, MySQL and PHP (LAMP). X2Studio, an administrative tool, allows developers to create and share new application modules without any programming knowledge. Additionally, X2CRM supports HTML5, iPad, iPhone and Android mobile phones. X2CRM is fully internationalized and has been localized into six languages with more on the way.
“When seeking a partner in the data integration market, we found that Talend offers a solution whose reliability and performance is compatible with the CRM solution we have built our core business around,” said John Roberts, founder and CEO of X2Engine. “Talend Enterprise Data Integration provides the ability to easily share data with other systems such as Salesforce.com, Microsoft CRM, Marketo, SAP and Amazon Cloud Services, as well as to connect directly to Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, DB2 databases and file stores, thereby increasing the information throughput an organization can process.”
Built on the Talend Unified Platform, Talend Enterprise Data Integration provides a comprehensive solution to access, transform and integrate data from any business system in real time or batch to meet both operational and analytical data integration needs. Talend Enterprise Data Integration offers more than 450 connectors to a broad range of technologies and applications, as well as the most popular Cloud SaaS and Social applications. New connectors continue to be added on a regular basis, either by the open source community or by Talend’s R&D organization.
“We’re truly excited to be working with X2Engine Corporation – a company to watch in this space,” said Keith Goldstein, vice president of worldwide channels and alliances at Talend. “Talend’s enterprise-grade open source integration technology is a perfect match for the groundbreaking work they are doing to develop new and innovative open source CRM applications. With more connectors to cloud systems than any other integration provider, and a platform that has been designed to be deployed in hybrid cloud environments, Talend is also a great architectural fit for X2Engine.”
In addition to selecting Talend Enterprise Data Integration, X2Engine is considering other products in the Talend portfolio, including Talend Enterprise Data Quality, the only open source enterprise data quality solution featuring data profiling, cleansing and stewardship.
