First Scalable Automated Testing Solution for Windows Mobile 5.0

CHICAGO and LAS VEGAS, May 8 /PRNewswire/ -- MEDC -- mVerify Corporation today announced general availability of the mVerify Testing System (MTS) Tester Edition, version 1.2. MTS is the testing industry's first automated application testing solution for Microsoft's Windows Mobile 5.0 and Win CE 5.0 platforms. MTS' scalable architecture means handheld device manufacturers, independent software vendors, and wireless service providers can slash testing time and costs. mVerify will demonstrate MTS testing twenty Windows Mobile platforms simultaneously at booth 301 of the Microsoft Mobile and Embedded DevCon (MEDC) in Las Vegas, running through May 11.

"MTS lets testers and developers sleep at night by finally offering a solution to the 'Mobile Testing Nightmare'. Each day, mobile application developers and wireless service providers face daunting challenges in integrating some of the most complex and varied technologies in the world," said Robert Binder, co-founder and CEO of mVerify. "The mVerify Testing System greatly speeds mobile application testing and integration. Because MTS supports testing that matches how end users routinely use applications, bugs that particularly impact customer satisfaction are found and fixed sooner, at a fraction of the cost." Jerry Upton, Chair of the IEEE 802.20 working group for mobile wireless broadband access and Chair of the TIA TR47 engineering committee, noted, "Based on my experience in wireless standards, I have seen the need for truly scalable mobile testing solutions. mVerify's MTS is a significant breakthrough in scalability."

mVerify's MTS Tester Edition helps mobile technology providers and users improve the quality and value of their mobile application systems. Tests are easily created by recording typical user interaction with mobile devices. Each test can then be repeated time and time again with virtually no extra effort. With MTS' object-oriented framework, any test scenario may be combined into more powerful test suites to uncover potentially catastrophic defects. In addition to being first with support for Windows Mobile 5.0 and Win CE 5.0, MTS 1.2 also provides enhanced testing for Microsoft's Smartphone and Pocket PC (2002 and 2003), and Windows CE 4.2 platforms -- on real devices or emulators. MTS is designed for the scalability that today's mobile systems require. With One-Click Repeat(TM), any test can be repeated up to 10,000 times with just one mouse click. Test engineers can control up to ten mobile phones and PDAs from one desktop PC, which can be used in tandem to test hundreds of devices simultaneously. With its enhanced scalability and platform coverage MTS 1.2 means shorter product release cycles, lower testing expense, and greater application reliability and security.

To Really Work for Enterprises, MultiCloud Adoption Requires Far Better and Inclusive Cloud Monitoring and Cost Management … But How? Overwhelmingly, even as enterprises have adopted cloud computing and are expanding to multi-cloud computing, IT leaders remain concerned about how to monitor, manage and control costs across hybrid and multi-cloud deployments. It’s clear that traditional IT monitoring and management approaches, designed after all for on-premises data centers, are falling short in ...
We are seeing a major migration of enterprises applications to the cloud. As cloud and business use of real time applications accelerate, legacy networks are no longer able to architecturally support cloud adoption and deliver the performance and security required by highly distributed enterprises. These outdated solutions have become more costly and complicated to implement, install, manage, and maintain.SD-WAN offers unlimited capabilities for accessing the benefits of the cloud and Internet. ...
The deluge of IoT sensor data collected from connected devices and the powerful AI required to make that data actionable are giving rise to a hybrid ecosystem in which cloud, on-prem and edge processes become interweaved. Attendees will learn how emerging composable infrastructure solutions deliver the adaptive architecture needed to manage this new data reality. Machine learning algorithms can better anticipate data storms and automate resources to support surges, including fully scalable GPU-c...

Machine learning has taken residence at our cities' cores and now we can finally have "smart cities." Cities are a collection of buildings made to provide the structure and safety necessary for people to function, create and survive. Buildings are a pool of ever-changing performance data from large automated systems such as heating and cooling to the people that live and work within them. Through machine learning, buildings can optimize performance, reduce costs, and improve occupant comfort by ...

Poor data quality and analytics drive down business value. In fact, Gartner estimated that the average financial impact of poor data quality on organizations is $9.7 million per year. But bad data is much more than a cost center. By eroding trust in information, analytics and the business decisions based on these, it is a serious impediment to digital transformation.
