Jeremy Geelan's i-Technology Blog
Ever since its major reorg in September, sundry high-up Microsofties have undoubtedly been beavering away at devising the two internal memos conveniently "leaked" yesterday via the blogosphere and conventional print media alike.
In this analysis, published over at SYS-CON.com, I attempt to argue that one of the memo-authors, Ray Ozzie (48), is a better bet as a successful leader in the coming era of Microsoft vs Google than his close contemporaries Bill Gates and Steve Ballmer – because he's "associated somehow with the future more than the past and the present."
Will Ozzie's futurism be enough, though, given the business and technical energy pulsating through the Web 2.0 from the Googleplex in Mountain View, CA, where both founders Brin and Page are still both only an astonishingly young and vibrant 32?
