SAN MATEO, Calif., March 31 /PRNewswire/ -- Greenplum Software today announced that Greenplum Advisors, Scott McNealy and Tim O'Reilly, will speak at the 2010 Greenplum Days event in Las Vegas, April 12 and 13, 2010.
Tim O'Reilly's presentation will begin at 3:30 pm PDT on Monday April 12, 2010.
Scott McNealy's presentation will begin at 9:00 am PDT on Tuesday April 13, 2010.
Scott McNealy and several other industry experts provide a preview of what Greenplum will be announcing at Greenplum Days in this video.
Scott McNealy cofounded Sun Microsystems 28 years ago and built an iconic company that generated more than $200 billion in revenue during its independent existence. Scott describes his current focus as being "a husband, a father of four, and a coach, builder and leader of people who want to make a difference."
Scott McNealy is currently serving as an executive advisor to Greenplum Software. In this capacity Scott provides guidance and counsel to members of the Greenplum team in such areas as strategic planning, business development, and community initiatives. Scott has no financial stake in the company; his role is voluntary and without remuneration.
Tim O'Reilly is the founder and CEO of O'Reilly Media, Inc., thought by many to be the best computer book publisher in the world.
